I don't see this option to deploy Serverless API for DeepSeek R1 on Azure AI Foundry anymore, I now only see the Global Standard deployment which requires an AI resource / server. How do I get Serverless API deployment again?

    Hi Bon Osonwanne

Thanks for posting your question on Microsoft Q&A. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

I believe you might have opted for the "Azure AI Model Inference Service," where DeepSeek is not yet deployed. Could you please turn it off as per the instructions below and then try again:

    1. Go to the Preview features option at the top right of the AI Foundry page.
    2. Turn off the "Deploy models to Azure AI Model Inference Service."

If these steps help resolve your issue, please mark the response as helpful and accept it. Please let me know if you have any further questions. I’d be happy to assist further!
