Hyper-V replication link issue

Dear,

I have a 100 MB replication link between my primary site and my DR site.

When transferring files, the link opens 100 MB, however when Hyper-V replication is operating, the link only opens 18 MB and reports health critical.

The replication health is normal according to my PowerShell troubleshooting and the MTU between the two sites is 1500.

Any idea why the link only opens 18 MB while Hyper-V replication is running?

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Here are steps we can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1.From network aspect, first you can tes the network condition by opening Task manager > Performance. Start a download/upload operation and check if it's caused by the network performance issue.

2.Meanwhile, please check if the disk performance on both sites are perfect which may impact the replication.

In Disk section under performance, you can check if below indicator are normal or not:

a.Activity time: The higher the value is, the disk is under heavier .workload.

b.Average Response Time: Usually it should be in milliseconds.

c.Check Read/Write Speed. For SSD the speed can reach 500-55OMB/s, For HDD it should be around 100-200 MB/s.

3.Please check if there's any antivirus software that may cause the issue.
