Hello,

I saw a few weeks ago the following Microsoft Azure Video where a call was translated in realtime.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8gzes7aA7s

Will be good to test this and be part of the BETA Testgroups. Where can I find more information about when it will be implemented and part of O365?

Many thanks in advanced for the requested information and more details

    Hi @Jose Lopez Moreno-ADM,

    In addition to @LiweiTian-MSFT,

I appreciate your enthusiasm to try out the new real-time AI-powered speech translation feature in Microsoft Teams. Up to this day, March 24, 2025, Microsoft has not rolled out the public preview for this feature. Microsoft first stated that the preview would come in early 2025 with support for a maximum of nine languages and the ability to simulate your personal voice in a different language. https://www.theverge.com/2024/11/19/24300266/microsoft-teams-ai-interpreter-speech-to-speech-translation?

But as the first quarter of 2025 is over and there has been no release, perhaps there have been some delays. Unfortunately, no official announcement on the new schedule for the preview release is available.

Meanwhile, if you are looking to experience something similar, you may use Azure AI Speech services, which provide real-time speech translation in multiple languages. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/speech-service/speech-translation

I suggest staying tuned to official Microsoft communications for the most current information on the Teams interpreter feature. Also, tracking the Microsoft 365 blog can give one an idea about future features and when they might be available. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2024/11/19/introducing-copilot-actions-new-agents-and-tools-to-empower-it-teams/?/

    Hi @Jose Lopez Moreno-ADM

Microsoft Teams meetings are getting a new interpreter feature that lets each participant speak or listen in the language of their choosing. Interpreter in Teams uses real-time AI-powered speech-to-speech translation to simulate your speaking voice during meetings.

A preview will be available in early 2025 that will include up to nine languages and the ability for the interpreter feature to simulate your personal voice in a different language.

The product team has not yet launched a beta version. Please wait patiently for the preview version. Thank you for your understanding and support.
