How to verify purchase of Developer Managed Consumable Addon ?

Hi,
User purchased "Developer Managed Consumable" Addon. After purchase while recording details into our own database, an error occurred, and nothing related to purchase was recorded.
Now user claims he has purchased the addon. how do we verify ?
StoreContext.GetUserCollectionAsync() does not return any results.
How do we solve the issue ?

After purchase while recording details into our own database, an error occurred, and nothing related to purchase was recorded.
Is there any error message?

Yes, It has happened and we want to make sure we address such issues.
Yes we saw errors but in this instance it was related to incorrect table structure. but this issue can resurface due to anything like code issues, connectivity issues etc.
[Suggestion for Store API Team]
It had been good if StoreContext.RequestPurchaseAsync() would return order no, at least we could immediately save it locally. we could then match it with what customer receives in his email. This way we could verify and solve issues.
More better it would have been if StoreContext.GetUserCollectionAsync() return history of Developer Managed Addon purchases with date and order no. we could then check in our database for user's consumption history and if entry not found, we could easily insert it into our database, without customer being troubled.
Anyways right now Store API teams has given us no choice, so what is workaround?

In the context of "Developer Managed Addon"
The main question is, what about customers who made "Developer Managed Addon" purchases in-store but, due to bugs in our code, server issues, or any other disruptions in the process, we might not have their purchase information? Is there any way to verify these transactions? Because if we can’t verify them, how can we resolve customer purchase issues?

You could probably try StoreContext.GetUserPurchaseHistory, but it would be best to ask the Store API teams.
