Unable to Delete an Enterprise Application in Microsoft Entra ID

I am trying to delete an Enterprise Application (BarcodeEmailAutomation) from Microsoft Entra ID, but I do not have the required permissions, even though I am a Global Administrator and have Owner access in Azure.

The issue is that the delete option is greyed out, and the application does not appear under App Registrations, preventing me from managing or removing it from there. However, it does show up under Enterprise Applications in Entra ID, where I have no control over its deletion.

I have tried assigning myself Azure role permissions, but that has not granted me the ability to remove the app. How can I force delete this Enterprise Application while ensuring no impact on my active Azure resources?

    Hi Tejaswai,

    I hope you're doing well.

    Have you tried blocking the apps from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center?

    You can navigate to the Office 365 Admin Center and go to Settings > Integrated Apps > Available Apps to block the app.

    Additionally, if the app is in Teams, you can remove it from the Teams Admin Center.

    Please let me know if you need any assistance. I'd be happy to help!

    @tejaswai Sharma

    Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

    As I understand you are unable to delete the application configured in enterprise application blade in Entra ID.

    As per below article you need to have any of the below roles assigned to delete an application from enterprise application blade in Entra ID.

    Cloud Application Administrator, Application Administrator, or owner of the service principal.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/enterprise-apps/delete-application-portal?pivots=portal

    As you are Global admin in Entra ID, can you assign one of above role to your account in Entra ID and then try to delete the application from Entra ID.

    Let me know if you have any other questions.
