Hi @Reed Porter ,
Welcome to our forum!
According to research, importing events from a CSV file are currently available only in the classic version of the Outlook desktop application. However, there are workarounds to achieve this:
- Use Outlook Web for CSV Import: If your account type supports Outlook Web, you can sign in and use the import feature in web settings to upload your CSV file.
- Convert CSV to ICS and Import: Since the new Outlook primarily supports ICS files, you can convert your CSV data into an ICS format using an online converter. Once converted, you can go to your new Outlook calendar, click on Add Calendar > Upload from File, and select the ICS file. More details, see: Import your events to new Outlook.
- Switch Back to Classic Outlook: You can switch back to use the Import/Export Wizard. Once the events are imported, they will sync to your calendar and remain accessible even if you return to the new Outlook.
I reverted back to the old outlook version and was able to upload the CSV file and share the calendar but the information that was uploaded on old outlook version will not show up in the new outlook or on any version when shared
According to my test on my Outlook, the events that I imported in old Outlook can be synced in the new Outlook, to narrow down the issue, what type of account are you using?
