Recently I brought my desktop computer gaming setup from my home to a new apartment I moved into. At home the computer worked perfectly fine apart from the occasional ethernet issue. After moving in and setting up the desktop immediately began to exhibit issues. It first started out as an inability to connect to the ethernet, however, that problem eventually resolved itself. Now, however, a number of new issues have cropped up. For one, the computer takes a much longer time to start up than it has before, at home it would take maybe 45 seconds to reach the sign in screen, and now it takes at least 3 minutes. Occasionally when booting the computer, it will itself on, but none of the peripherals will turn on. (The monitors infrequently will, but will never display anything other than their built in generic "Entering Power Save Mode" when they're not being used.) On the rare chance that everything turns on properly and I am allowed to sign in, I am afforded at most 5 minutes before the picture on the monitors goes either completely grey, or displays only half an image. The only solution for this is to completely power the computer off. I have reached a point where I am not sure what to do as the only difference between when the computer worked and does not work is location. Windows does not need to be updated, restarting the computer has no effect, I have even tried unplugging all devices in my apartment apart from the computer and a single monitor under the assumption that its a power supply issue, to no effect either.
At this point I am wondering if I should send my whole setup to a tech repair company to get them to examine it, but if this is more simple of an issue that can be resolved without outside help I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. Feel free to ask any questions if you have any or if I happened to miss something important in my explanation.
