Windows 11 pro 24H2 stopped communication between computer and network printer

After updating to version 24H2, Windows 11 pro stopped printing to my network printer. I tried to reinstall the printer driver (my printer is Canon ImageClass MF273dw). When I put in the printer's IP address, the driver failed to install. Similarly, in Microsoft Edge, I input the printer's IP address. Edge could not connect.

Luckily, I kept an image backup of my system drive. When I rolled back to version 23H2, the probems stopped.

Has anyone had a similar problem? How can I update without breaking my network printer?

    Hello,

Did you install the latest version of your device?

You could download it from the official website :

    https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/imageclass-mf273dw#idReference%3Dsoftware-drivers

You can also use network tools to confirm if there's any additional information.
