Edge extension side panel background cannot use white.

Edge version: 132.0.2957.140 (Official build) (arm64)

MacOS version: 15.1.1

My extension plugin (configured to open via the sidePanel) turns black in background color when opened in the sidePanel. Similarly, black text will be rendered in white.

Testing revealed that in the debug window, changing the background color to other colors (such as red, blue, etc.) displays correctly. However, using white or near-white shades of gray, such as #e5e5e5, results in the background color turning black.

I've tried resetting Edge settings and changing edge themes, but neither worked.

I expect the background color in my sidepanel to display as white as I set it. How can I resolve this? Thank you!
