problem with the authenticator app code

I have a problem with the authenticator app.

I have a university account. I can't log in to my account. Every time I try to log in, it asks me for verification through the app (the number that appears) but for some reason the app doesn't show me anything. I tried turning the device off and on, deleting and reinstalling the app and nothing works. I also tried deleting the user from the app and logging in again but when I log in to the account from the app, it asks me for verification through the app again which doesn't make sense at all.

Every place I try to log in to the account, Microsoft website, Microsoft 360, etc., it asks me for verification through the app again.

How do I reset everything? How do I manage to log in to my account again?

It used to work.. I just haven't logged in for about a year and recently I tried again and it just doesn't show the code.

One thing to try if you're having trouble with the Authenticator, here's how to get back into your Microsoft account! Just use Microsoft’s Sign-in Helper by clicking this link and following the steps!

    Try this :

    1. Go to the Page: Click the link to access the Sign in Helper.
    2. Follow the Instructions: The page will guide you through identity verification and account recovery.
    3. Regain Access: Whether it’s using a backup code, resetting your password, or another recovery option, you’ll be back in before you know it.

That’s it! The Sign in Helper provides clear, step-by-step directions—just follow along, and you’ll be signed in again in no time.
