The knowledge check puts emphasis on the cloud provider, not the customer where they choose which model they need. Hybrid is where the customer chooses if they need public and private and how much of each.

Yep - in its current format, the question does not make much sense and should be reworded to reflect the customer's point of view.

    Hi Edmund Cooper,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A platform.

A hybrid cloud integrates both publicly available cloud services and privately hosted cloud services tailored to the needs of a single client. In this structure, certain data centers are oriented towards a wide range of users while others are specifically designed to cater to an individual customer’s requirements.

A hybrid model is one in which some cloud service data centers are open to public use while other data centers are restricted to a single customer.

In fact, private clouds allow for self-serving scaling capabilities, just like traditional cloud services do, but only within a single organization’s control. Because of this, a private cloud is only accessible to one organization, whether the infrastructure is internally hosted or externally managed by a provider.

By doing this, using a hybrid cloud approach allows organizations to:

Utilize public cloud services for non-sensitive tasks and quickly scale up resources as needed.

Store sensitive data and important applications in private cloud environments to maintain better control and security.

Save costs by using the most suitable cloud resources for different types of work.

Enhance flexibility and scalability by smoothly combining public and private cloud resources.

This approach provides the best of both worlds, helping organizations adjust to changing business needs and fully benefit from cloud computing.

The correct answer is Hybrid Cloud. The way the information is presented is correct, so you can continue learning by completing the Knowledge Check unit and finishing your learning goals.
