How do I access my account when I have been locked out of Microsoft Authenticator?

I have Microsoft Office Business Basic (No Teams). I am the admin. I changed my username from ******@onyxvending.com to ******@onyxvending.com, which resulted in me being logged out. When I try to log back in, I am asked to type in a number on the Microsoft Authenticator app. When I go on the app, it wants me to log in. When I try to log into the app, it wants me to verify my identity with the app. Basically, the Authenticator app wants me to verify my account with the Authenticator app. I can't sign into the authenticator App because I can't use the app to verify my identity. I am stuck in an endless loop of MFA.  I’m locked out because I can’t use the Microsoft Authenticator app to sign in. When I try to recover my account, Microsoft says it doesn’t recognize it. I need help regaining access.  My recovery email is ******@gmail.com.

    Hello @Antoinette,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

As we discussed over email, this issue relates to a tenant lockout situation where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary admin rights to re-register MFA.

To resolve this, we engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. Please connect with our support team via the ticket, and they will assist you in resolving the issue.

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
