I've had the same thing happen to me,but I put in a request to rest my password and was able to verify my password then.

I am having trouble signing in to the Microsoft Authenticator app on both my phone and my iPad. After entering my password, I am prompted to "approve sign-in request" or enter a code. However, since I am not yet logged in, I can't approve the request or retrieve a code, leaving me stuck in a loop. I've already reviewed similar questions and responses here, but none have resolved my issue. How can I bypass this and regain access to my account?

VMC 5 Reputation points2025-02-15T03:02:04.2433333+00:00 I have the same issue. Resetting my password didn't help. I tried the phone numbers in the support and was on hold for 3 hours and no one ever answered. Awful situation.
