Cannot enter numbers from Microsoft authenticate to log in to my work email

I had to get a new phone & now when I try to login to my work email it asks me to use the authenticator app to login. Before, it would show me a double digit # & then a popup would appear for me to enter those numbers. That popup is no longer coming up so it’s not allowing me to sign in. Please help!
