New phone doesn’t receive authentication code

Every time I try and log in using my Microsoft email, it asks me to enter a number from the Authenticator app, but there is no number in there, this has been a problem since having my new phone, please can someone help me?

    Thanks for your question.

    To use authenticator on a new phone you have to load up the old backup of the authenticatot. If you did not back it up to the cloud:

    Depends on the type of account. You would need contact the admins of the accounts in question for work or school accounts if you do not have recovery methods.
