interactive account login for powershell 'run as different user' not popping up

Question

using Powershell ISE

when using run as different account (my elevated account) the interactive popup is not appearing. if i provide my credentials manually, im able to login with that same account.

the popup does appear if i dont use my elevated account , however, 99% of my work needs to be done using the elevated account
