Outlook calendar reminder as a meeting?

Hi there

I use Calendar for meetings but also manually add a reminder for meetings 7 days before the meeting takes place. This ensures that all meeting documents are ready to go out 7 days before the actual meeting date/serves as a reminder. is there any way of setting reminders to auto-populate as a separate 'meeting'? Instead of a reminder coming up as a notification only?
