Teams and Azure Boards integration does not work: "Sorry, you have no associated Azure DevOps organizations."

This used to work fine but stopped working a few weeks back.

In Microsoft Teams we have the Azure Boards integration which allows us to view the Azure Devops WorkItem Details (or card) inside our Teams conversations.

Since the issue started when we try to add a link to a workitem, we don't get the card. When we click on the + in Teams and choose Azure Devops, we get a message that tells us that we need to connect. When we click the signin link, we are brought to a page that states:

Sorry, you have no associated Azure DevOps organizations.

Azure DevOps provides boards, repos and continuous integration/deployment pipelines for software teams so that they can plan better, code together and ship faster. Microsoft Teams and Azure DevOps make collaborating on software projects easy and fun – no matter your language or platform.

We all have the same issue. We have tried signing out, signing in....nothing seems to work.

It actually started working again for a few days but, once again started to fail...no idea what's going on. By the way I am an admin in Devops so I have all the necessary permissions.

I used to be able to post technical support questions through Azure...now I only see this option....a Developer Community is great but I used to have access to direct support. Has something changed?

Even I'm facing the similar Issue with Azure DevOps:

Instead, use the Azure Boards (or Azure Repos) app inside Teams to get the full integration experience.

In the Microsoft Teams app, open Azure Repos.

Sign In with your Azure DevOps account.

Select the organization and project.

Next, open the Azure Boards app in Teams.

Sign in with the same Azure DevOps account which you have already signed in with Azure repos.

Now, you will be able to see all the work items which is on your board.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I also tried with Azure Boards and get a different problem. When I click on the +, choose Azure Boards, it asks me to sign in as well. When I do so, it says it needs to Request Admin Approval. I send that request out, my IT approves it but then nothing changes. If I try to use Azure Boards I still see that sign-in link....at this point, I can't click it. Don't know why but when I click it nothing happens.

I then tried to logout and restart entirely my Teams. I got back to the Sign in link, clicked it and it requested my admin approval again...I'm stuck in a loop...

So whether it's Azure Boards or Azure Devops plugins, both seem not to work but for similar yet different reasons.

I also notice that when I try to access the Integrated app itself

Here, the admin grants consent permission should give for the entire organization, not just for a single user. If the admin only approves it for themselves, you will get stuck.

After approval, wait a bit and then sign out and sign back in to Teams to refresh any tokens.

Now, I can be able to access this azure boards from individual chats as shown below.

Signed in with MS acc and Set-up with Organisation and project then you can get all the items which are in your board.
