Azure AD Sign-in Error 50140

Our colleagues are continuously reporting issues when logging into Microsoft portals (such as the Teams Admin Portal and Entra Portal). When they click "Login," the page keeps refreshing, but nothing happens. However, it works when they try logging in from a new browser.

Another issue is that when trying to view emails older than 24 hours, the page redirects back to the inbox, and nothing happens. The Azure AD sign-in logs show an interrupted status with error code 50140. This issue is affecting multiple users.

What is the exact cause of this, and how can we resolve it?

    Hello @Vishnu Anand ,

Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Q&A.

I Understand that your colleagues are continuously reporting issues when logging into Microsoft portals (such as the Teams Admin Portal and Entra Portal) and also when trying to view emails older than 24 hours, the page redirects back to the inbox, and nothing happens. When they click "Login," the page keeps refreshing, but nothing happens. Once try clear the browser cookies and cache sessions in the browser you are trying and login again.

The Microsoft Entra ID sign-in logs show an interrupted status with error code 50140. This error typically occurs when the user selects "No" for the "Keep me signed in" option during login, so this behavior is expected where the status is marked as interrupted.
