How do I know if my account has been hacked? Is there any way to recover it.

I always use Microsoft as my second browser. Recently, or more precisely, a week ago, when I tried to log into my account, Microsoft said, 'That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one.'

I searched online for similar cases and found that many people had the same issue. I followed their instructions, but none of them worked. Every time I tried to enter my missing account name on the sign-in page, it always gave me the same message: 'That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one.'

Then, just half an hour ago, I received a notification from Microsoft saying that I had used up all my OneDrive storage. When I clicked the link to delete files from OneDrive, they asked me to sign in to my lost account. I chose to sign in using a code, but Microsoft said they had sent the code to a recovery email that I didn't enter when I created the account, It was from another person

Does this mean I’ve been hacked?

    Hi Việt Nguyễn Xuân,

that sounds very much like a takeover of the account by a third party. In this case there are several possibilities, the following links might help:

The following link is about Account recovery:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form-b19c02d1-a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42

When you can't access your account but need to contact Microsoft support, use the "Sign In Helper"

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/home/contact?linkquery=Help%20me%20sign%20in%20to%20my%20Microsoft%20account

Direct Link to give Microsoft more details about your account:
