Security_HKLM_only

Hi,

I am hoping someone might be able to help.

I have been having an issue with an application which launches an sign-in portal when the app is launched. This throws up a script error where it appears this portal is attempting to use javascript. Default values for this are to run with High Security (adjusting this level also does not resolve the issue)

After alot of digging i have identified that when the above key (Security_HKLM_only) is set to 1 this error is replicable.

I have tried adding the URL that the portal appears to be using to a Trusted Sites list but the issue persists. Only when either the key value above is deleted or set to 0 does the application sign in portal load correctly.

Is anyone able to advise when this key is enabled what areas of registry is being used/enforced as i imagine potentially there is local/default windows configuration blocking the portal when this key is enabled?

I have looked at: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings outwith the Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings where the Security_HKLM_only key exists but can not see anything obvious that would be blocking this.

Thanks in advance
