Hi Microsoft Community,

I'm having trouble signing into my Microsoft account. When I try to log in, it asks me to approve the sign-in request via the Microsoft Authenticator app, but I'm not receiving any prompt in the app.

Instead, the Authenticator app itself asks me to sign in, and after entering my email and password, it shows the same approval request page as my computer, asking me to enter a number. However, there is no place to enter the number in computer .

What’s Happening:

When logging in, I get the message: “Approve sign-in request – Open your Authenticator app and enter the number shown.”

The Authenticator app does not show a prompt or a place to enter the number.

The option to scan a QR code never appears when setting up my account again.

I don't see any 6-digit verification codes in the app.
