Question

When we share file links from OneDrive or SharePoint, it also includes the username of the person sharing it. Is there any way to remove that name when sharing the link with external users?

Unfortunately, OneDrive and SharePoint do not currently offer a way to remove the username from shared links. The username is included to provide transparency and accountability regarding who shared the file.

As a workaround, you can manage permissions and control who has access to the shared files.
