All of a sudden on both of my browsers I am no longer in charge. Not sure what I did. This is my HOME computer. Also, I can't uninstall my company's Checkpoint Security. Any help?

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

This message indicates that your computer has been controlled by company policies like GPO, MDM or Checkpoint that you mentioned.

You can try below steps to get it fixed:

1.Press "Win + R", type regedit to open registry editor:

    Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome,

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge,

check if there's any policy that could impact browser settings and delete the key.

Restart the computer and check if it works.

2.Check if the user account that you login is administrator and try to uninstall the checkpoint again.

3.Go to Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School and "Disconnect" the user account to get the group policy restriction removed.

Restart the computer and check if it works.
