I am not able to login into my Windows 11 OS. It says the PIN has to be setup and when I try to setup the PIN, it by default selects my outlook email where I am not receiving the code. Requesting help with it.

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Ensure that your Outlook email account is correctly set up and that you're able to receive emails. Sometimes, emails can end up in the spam or junk folder, so check there as well.
    2. If possible, try using an alternate email address for the verification code. You can add an alternate email to your Microsoft account by logging in through a web browser on another device.
    3. Make sure your device is connected to the internet. A stable connection is necessary for receiving the verification code.
    4. Try booting your computer in Safe Mode and then attempt to set up the PIN again. To do this, press and hold the Shift key while selecting Restart from the power options on the sign-in screen. Then, go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
    5. If you're still unable to set up the PIN, you might need to reset it. On the sign-in screen, select "I forgot my PIN" and follow the prompts to reset it.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
