We've seen this issue on and off since we went down the Windows 11 path

When trying to make a snip the +New icon does not work

User's image

but users can use WIN+SHIFT+S when it occurs to get around it.

The issue occurs on random on our AVD win11 hostpools

here as you see it is working

User's image and on random machine. Need to get some shed of light on this intermittent issue

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to snipping.

Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps. Find the Snipping Tool and select Advanced options. Click on Repair.

Ensure your Windows 11 AVD machines are up to date with the latest cumulative updates, as some updates may contain fixes for this issue.

If you are using FSLogix, there might be conflicts with the Snipping Tool. Some users have reported that FSLogix tries to re-register an old version of the Snipping Tool package, causing it to break.

If still not work, Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps. Find the Snipping Tool and select Advanced options. Click on Reset to reset the snipping tool.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly
