Sometimes, just restarting the computer will fix these types of problems.

    Hi @Jim Fitzpatrick

How did you cut/paste content, via shortcuts (Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V) or menu options?

If you are using shortcuts, please make sure, please make sure the shortcuts are not occupied by other software.

As Viorel suggested, please check cut & paste function in Word and other programs.

If you also have this issue in other software, it is recommended to clean the Clipboard:

    • Press Windows + V to open the clipboard history to turn off history.

I also suggest you test in Word of Sade Mode. To open Word in Safe Mode:

Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.

    • Type winword /safe and press Enter.
