Excel Run-time error 5 on Macbook

Dear community members,

I am using microsoft 365 on macbook with m2 chip. I am constantly getting run-time error 5: invalid procedure call or argument when opening .xlsx files with excel. The error message goes away when I press "end" for two times. This does NOT happen with all other microsoft 365 apps. Could you help me figure out what's causing the bug and how to fix it?
