Is Microsoft Teams Room System capable of supporting more then 1 control panel? Effectively having 2 control panels mirroring each other.

    Hi @James Marciano

Microsoft Teams Room System supports using multiple control panels. This setup can enhance flexibility and convenience, especially in larger meeting rooms. Here’s how you can configure multiple control panels:

    1. Hardware Preparation:
      • Ensure you have multiple compatible touch consoles.
      • Connect all consoles to the same network and ensure they can access the Microsoft Teams Room device.
    2. Teams Admin Center Configuration:
      • Log in to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
      • Navigate to the "Devices" section and select "Teams Rooms".
      • Find and select the room device you want to configure.
    3. Add and Configure Consoles:
      • In the device settings, choose the option to add a console.
      • Follow the on-screen instructions to add the new console to the room device.
      • Configure each console to mirror each other, ensuring they sync calendar, meeting controls, and other functionalities.
    4. Testing and Verification:
      • After configuration, test each console to ensure they work correctly and mirror each other.
      • Verify that changes made on one console reflect on the other.
    5. Maintenance and Management:
      • Regularly check and update the firmware and software of the consoles to keep them in optimal condition.
      • Use the Teams Admin Center to monitor the status and performance of the consoles and address any issues promptly.
