Can we map a window-based App Service under Linux Based App Plan

In a particular use case i need to create a Linux based App Plan and under than app plan i need to map 2 web App Service .
Linux web app mapped correcttly under Linux based app plan but when i am trying to map the window based App Service under Linux app plan it says:

cannot change the site xyz-cd-usw--app-svc to the App Service Plan xyz-cd-usw-linux-app-sp due to hosting constraints.

    as the linux plan only has linux servers, it can not host a windows application. you need a windows plan, as you need a windows hosting server.

    note: generally Windows hosting plans are more expensive than linux for the same scaling. another reason a linux plan can not be used to host windows.
