duplicate personal account inhibits my registered exam

I have a registered exam which I am unable to see in my microsoft account. I have contacted Pearsonvue who traced the cause to my duplicate microsoft account and has suggested that I merge the two accounts but it seems duplicate personal accounts cannot be merged.

Please how can I deal with this issue.
