Can't insert admin credentials on remote controI or screen get freeze

Hi,

Our company is running 1600 individual laptops or desktop withWindows 10 OS .

The systems are operated by branch user without administrative rights.
I often connect to these systems remotely with the application TeamViewer.
When I want to install software or add a printer etc. UAC window pops up and requests administrative credentials. However, although some systems let me insert the admin password and allow me to take the action with admin rights, other systems freeze the UAC window as soon as I try and put in the first digit and I cannot install any applications etc.

I believe it is a setting that must be switched on to allow the administrative password input remotely but I couldn't find it. Otherwise remote access on a computer running with standard user rights becomes pointless.

I would appreciate your help.

    Hello,

Are there any patterns among the non-working PCs, such as specific third-party software or different versions of Windows 10 or TeamViewer?

Are the settings on the team viewer different?

Are the UAC settings in the local security policy the same on both the working and non-working systems?

    Thank you,

    Karlie Weng
