sync password ad local to 365 and 365 to local

Greetings,

I have the following client:

local domain synced with azure connect

365 domain where all the users are synchronized and I manage the licenses

the PCs are joined to the Azure domain

Passwords that have not been synchronized for a while now.

If I change the password in the domain and then synchronize it happens regularly without any problem.

If I change the password via the web it is not synchronized in the local domain.

Could it be due to write back or something else?

I need both-way sync - bi-directional

A thanks

Claudio

    Hello Claudio Pelosi1,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description "If I change the password via the web it is not synchronized in the local domain.":

Please check if you change password via the web successfully?
How did you check the password is not ***synchronized in the local domain?***Please check if the password is synchronized in the Azure domain.

Please check if any ports between Azure domain and local domain are open.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou

    I have the same issue.

I have the local/on prem AD sync to O365 working. What I need now is the sync from O365 back to on-prem AD.

Is there a way to do this?
