I have a Windows 2022 Standard server hosting 2 VMs of Windows 2022 Standard. Currently am running with the eval version and need to know how to get keys to activate the VMs. Not sure what, if anything, I need to purchase for this. Thanks for your help.

    Hello Tom Lindley1

The Windows Server Standard Edition license allows you to run up to two Operating System Environments (OSEs) or Virtual Machines (VMs) on a single physical server. This means that you can run two VMs on the same server using the same license.

    I hope this helps.

I thought that Server Standard 2022 included up to 2 VMs based on this:

    • Physical 🇲🇸 DVD Package Delivered By Mail
    • Supports 1 Admin User / 1 Server
    • 🇴🇪🇲/🇴🇪🇮 Licensing
    • 16 🇨🇴🇷🇪 License
    • 1 Server Installation
    • Includes Two (2) Virtual Machines
    • Virtualize by enabling the optional Hyper-V hypervisor role (included)
    • Licensed for Home and Commercial Use
    • Satisfaction guaranteed!
