Windows 10 ltsc

Question

Windows 10 ltsc 90 day free evaluation iso hasn't worked since the 1809 version . Every evaluation since then has an expired license key embedded in the download. It's supposed to be a free evaluation to determine if you like it and want to buy it. But if you can't even activate it , how can you evaluate it.

Microsoft has been aware of this fault for ages and still refuses to care or do anything about it .

apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing.

As you mentioned, Windows 10 LTSC evaluation is valid for 90 days. If you see an expired license key message immediately after installation, it may be due to the fact that you are using an expired evaluation ISO file or that your system is not timed correctly. So, please make sure you are using the latest version of the evaluation ISO file and check that your system time is correct.

Thank you for responding so quickly . But no , I have always used a fresh download and the timing on my system is working fine. The problem is , I think , that no one at Microsoft has bothered to look into this problem and insert a valid embedded license key . It's really not rocket science , just a lack of urgency for a simple fix.

I used to work at Microsoft. I contacted somebody and they are going to look into this with the correct team.
