    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to Server 2012 R2.

Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2 ended on October 10, 2023. After this date, these products will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, technical support, or online technical content updates. It is recommended to upgrade to latest server version.

You can use Extended Security Updates (ESU) for up to three years, which are available at no charge in Azure or need to be purchased for on-premises deployments, or upgrade to Windows Server 2022.

    Have a nice day.

We already installed and ESU license.

This problem facing from last month only

Also this not related to any ESU license.

Windows updates are stuck installation in quie. If we all that from quie problem will resolve.

The error is straightly showing the same message.

    Hello,

Please firstly run below command to scan some system files and check result:

    sfc /scannow

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /restoreHealth

    Create folder C:\temp\cab

Download the update from Microsoft Update Catalog to C:\temp

Expand the .msu file to extract the .cab file by running below command in CMD:

    expand -F:* C:\temp{.msu file name with extension} C:\temp\cab

You will get a .cab file from last step, use the following DISM command to add package:

    Dism /online /add-package /packagepath:c:\temp\cab{.cab file with extension}

If there is no error, reboot the machine

If there is error, please show us screenshots of running all above commands.

    best regards,

    molly
