Storage Space direct CSV getting stuck and VMS freez.

Hello,

I am facing regular issue in storage space direct 2019 cluster volume and VMS are getting freeze unexpectedly. Once i reboot the server all okay and working fine. again, similar issue happening after couple of days. following actions has been done but issue remain same.

  • Windows UpToDate.
  • Hardware firmware UpToDate.

Recently we changed our antivirus software. I noticed this issue starts after that. could you please advise might antivirus will create problem in CSV. as per my company policy i cannot remove AV from servers. so, if i exclude cluster from AV scanning please give me the required paths for exclusion. If AV does not make any issues, then please let me know what the root cause is and how will resolve the issue.

If required any logs, please let me know.

    Please exclude below paths from anti-virus scanning

    C:\Windows\Cluster 

    C:\ClusterStorage (CSV)

    Clussvc.exe
