Hi

I have windows sever 2019 and the POS application that utilizes the server is dropping the connection for the users at a different site, I have checked the event logs for the errors and it came back as; AppHangB1, 2485. I ran a systems scan on the files in the command prompt and it came back as good. Is there anything else I can do to ensure that the users don't lose connection again, as this problem has been going on for quite sometime.

The error message in better detail is:

AppHangB1

POS191032046.exe

191.32.0.46

2485

134217728

    Hello,

Based on the information you provided, we recommend that you refer to the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Ensure that the network connection between the server and the client is stable. Run a continuous ping test (ping -t <client-ip>) between the server and the client to check for packet loss or high latency.
    2. Check the event log for more relevant error messages to find any specific errors or clues that may indicate the reason for the disconnection. .
    3. Ensure that both Windows Server 2019 and your POS application are using the latest versions.
    4. Monitor the server's resource usage (CPU, memory, disk I/O) to ensure that the server is not overloaded, which may cause this problem if the server is down.
    5. Sometimes, security software can interfere with network operations. Temporarily disable these software to see if the problem persists.

If the problem persists after the above troubleshooting,

    Best regards

    Zunhui
