Here are some steps to troubleshoot this issue:
- Ensure that the account you are using on your PC has been added to the "Remote Desktop Users" group on remote device.
- Reboot both local and remote devices.
- Check if Remote Desktop Services is running on the remote computer. Run "services.msc" and look for the "Remote Desktop Services" and "Remote Desktop Configuration" services and make sure they are running.
- Reset network connection. You can release TCP/IP, Flush DNS, Reset Winsock, Reset Proxy and see if that helps.
