May I inquire if it is possible to upgrade my Microsoft OEM license from the 2019 Data Center version to the 2022 Server Edition open license?

    Hi A Quantum Engineer From Malaysia,

    1.You will need to purchase the appropriate upgrade license to upgrade your Microsoft OEM license.

    2.Regarding the access CALS license, it depends on the type of CALS license you have. If you have a User CAL or Device CAL, you will need to purchase new CALS licenses for the 2022 Server Edition. If you have an External Connector license, it will cover access for external users to the 2022 Server Edition.
