HTML5 RD Web Client doesn't seem to pass keyboard through correctly on certain websites

on a certain website, there is a field that should auto search a client list as the user types.

This works fine when using .rdp file or directly on the server.

However, when using the RD Web client it doesn't seem to recognise any characters have been typed until I press the backspace button to delete a character.

They show up, but they don't cause the "auto search" to fire until one is deleted

running Windows server 2022, it is the same on edge or firefox, not been able to test other websites but the particular one in question is Sage online.

    Hello,

Have you tried Internet Explorer? Do you mean the typing issue only occurs on a specific website while working correctly on all other websites?

You may try the solutions suggested in this thread; Powershell 5.1 not accepting keyboard input when using Remote Desktop HTML5 Web Client - Microsoft Q&A The solution involved enabling the input method editor at the client side.

Other reference: Keyboard settings in the remote session

    Regards,

    Karlie
