To share a printer between Windows 11 and Windows 10, you can follow these steps:
- Connect the printer to the computer that will be sharing it.
- Open the "Settings" app on the computer that the printer is connected to.
- Click on "Devices" and then "Printers & scanners".
- Select the printer you want to share and click on "Manage".
- Click on "Printer properties" and then the "Sharing" tab.
- Check the box next to "Share this printer" and give it a share name.
- Click on "OK" to save the changes.
Now, on the other computer(s) that you want to connect to the shared printer, you can follow these steps:
- Open the "Settings" app.
- Click on "Devices" and then "Printers & scanners".
- Click on "Add a printer or scanner".
- Select "The printer that I want isn't listed".
- Select "Select a shared printer by name" and enter the share name of the printer.
- Click on "Next" and follow the prompts to install the printer.
