There is currently no specific update that should be used to resolve this issue, just make sure all drivers are up to date.

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

The error code 1000009f is typically associated with a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. This kind of error usually occurs when a driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state. It’s often seen when a system is shutting down or entering/leaving sleep or hibernation.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

Check for problematic software: Some software, like Roxio or Nero programs, have been known to cause this problem. If you’re using any such software, check with their support.

Microsoft Support: Microsoft has several resources that might help:

    • Error message when you try to resume a Windows 7-based or a Windows Server 2008 R2-based computer from hibernation: "Stop 0x0000009F"
    • Stop error when you put a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 to sleep or into hibernation, or when you restart the computer: "0x9F"
    • “0x0000009F” Stop error message when a computer enters and resumes from hibernation in Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

Update your drivers: Make sure all your drivers are up-to-date. Outdated drivers can often cause issues.

Windows Kernel event ID 41 error: This error occurs if the system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first.

Disable BIOS memory options: Such as caching or shadowing.

Check for hardware issues: If the problem persists, it might be worth checking if there are any issues with your hardware.
