Having trouble activating windows Server 2025 license.

Hello,
Im trying to activate a windows server 2025 license, Im currently on a evaluation license and put in the product key for the license I purchased and received an error the key was incorrect, I then reached out to the company i purchased they key from they asked me to use the command prompt to activate the ket with a command
slmgr -ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX

to which i got error: 0xC004E016

I then ran slui 4 per their instructions and have been on hold with your toll free number for over 1.5 hrs for the instillation id code

Any help would be greatly appreciated upgrading to server 2025 has ben an extremely painful process thus far.

    If you purchased a standard license have you tried slmgr -ipk TVRH6-WHNXV-R9WG3-9XRFY-MY832 first then again with your purchased license key?

    Hello,

    If you are running an evaluation version you need to convert to retail using a documented process.

    Simply adding a retail product key will not work.
