Why doesn't Microsoft have a "feedback hub" for problems with server software like it has for Windows 10 and 11?

Why do you have to initiate a $500 support session if you want to bring a widespread problem with an update to Server 2022 to Microsoft's attention? There is an issue with a recent update to Server 2022 not working that 73 people have reported experiencing. Microsoft is nowhere to be found in the thread where this is being discussed. https://tinyurl.com/bdzftku7

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to windows update Server 2022 not working.

Can you provide the detailed KB number? I checked the Server 2022 update website but didn't find such known issue published for the latest update:

    November 12, 2024—KB5046616 (OS Build 20348.2849) - Microsoft Support

Also, here are the published known issue and resolved ones for server 2022, you can monitor this website:

Resolved issues in Windows Server 2022 | Microsoft Learn

Microsoft have a Feedback Hub app that allows users to report problems and provide feedback for Windows 10 and 11. This app can also be used for Windows Server Insider Preview Builds:

Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app - Microsoft Support

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly

The number is KB504661. There's a long community thread about it at https://tinyurl.com/bdzftku7 (I used TinyURL for the URL because it was so long.) One person was able to get it installed by re-installing Server 2022, but 73 others don't have the luxury of taking their servers down for that long. Nobody at Microsoft has chimed in. I'll be happy to demonstrate it not working if somebody wants to observe it via remote access. It may have something to do with the problem unit being a SQL server -- it installed properly on two identical servers that don't run SQL. All three units have been updated in unison for two years.

Well? Did you look at the thread? Does Microsoft still maintain that there's no problem with KB5046616?
