I want to rip a new CD to WDMycloud, via Media Player. When I try to add a location where to store this new CD (rather than 'music'), I click on network, but Media player cannot see anything on my network including WDMycloud. However, wthin explorere, when I click on network I can see everything including WDMcloud. Help !

Hello,
Based on my understanding of your issue, I suggest you try the following steps to troubleshoot:
services.msc
and press Enter. Find the service called Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service. Right click on it and select "Restart". Best regards
Zunhui
Thanks. I tried that but not solved the problem. I can see my network fully via explorer but not via media player! I cannot change the file to where I want to rip my new cd from 'music' to wd mycloud, which is on my local network.
