cannot access shared folder on local network or localhost

Question

hi

I have windows server 2012 R2 that installed in vm

I have folders that shared to other users

what happen is : users cannot access to this shared folder

when trying to access this shared folder from local host \localhost it's not working

trying to use ip for pc \192.168.x.x also not working

i have to restart windows

after restarting every thing working fine

after many hours it back again cannot access shared folder

ping to this vm working fine

i make firewall disabled

uninstall antivirus

and the problem is still exist

i don't know what i can do to solve this problem

1. Check if the issue occurs when using 127.0.0.1.
2. After server restart, does the issue consistently occur after a certain amount of time?
3. Are there any specific actions taken after server restart?
4. Check if any events are logged in the event log when unable to access.
5. Is there a difference in the results when the following commands are executed when access is available and when it is not? Test-NetConnection -ComputerName <IPAddress or Hostname> -Port 445

i tried all your steps :

1 - Check if the issue occurs when using 127.0.0.1

--- yes when when using \127.0.0.1 the same problem

2 - After server restart, does the issue consistently occur after a certain amount of time?

---yes after restart the issue back again some times after a certain oh hours and some times after a day or two days

3- Are there any specific actions taken after server restart?

--- no action taken , share working fine after restart

4- Check if any events are logged in the event log when unable to access

--- i checked events many time and i found no thing related with that issue

5- Is there a difference in the results when the following commands are executed when access is available and when it is not?

Test-NetConnection -ComputerName <IPAddress or Hostname> -Port 445

---- no different the same result

how ever when the problem occurs i can connect to share folder from some pcs but other pcs and the localhost it salf cannot connect to share
