    The Recovery Key ID is used to identify the specific key needed to unlock the drive. It’s helpful if you have multiple recovery keys saved in your Microsoft account or elsewhere. Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct way to use the ID to retrieve the key, it's more for identification. If you lost your recovery key, please retrieve it by following the steps in Find your BitLocker recovery key - Microsoft Support.

    **Important:**Microsoft Support is unable to provide, or recreate, a lost BitLocker recovery key.
