Hello!
I apologize as Windows login accounts are not my area of expertise, so I managed to find some references, and I hope the following is helpful:
- "Onmicrosoft.com account is for school or business account, that is a different domain. If you are trying to use it to login in your computer you need to use a personal account like @outlook.com." (Source: Why can't I use my .onmicrosoft account for windows? - Microsoft Community)
- "*.onmicrosoft.com is a corporate account and could never be turned into a Microsoft (personal account say live, outlook or hotmail.com).
To login to a device using a corporate account, you need to get the device Entra ID joined." (Quoted from: How do I use our *.onmicrosoft.com account as a Microsoft account to login windows - Microsoft Q&A)
I hope this information helps.
Best regards,
Karlie Weng
