My infrastructure comprises Windows Server 2022 wir all Updates, Connection Brocker, a standalone SQL server, Fslogix, a license server, Web Access and Gateway, along with 5-6 Session Hosts.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem or can help me identify the cause of this error? I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions for resolving this issue.

    Hello!

You need to remove active GPOs on the RDSH server for the "Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services" container.

    Hello   NBIA3,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the error message you provided, it seems that the RD Session Host server RDS is unable to be configured due to an invalid operation. This could be caused by a number of issues, such as incorrect configuration settings, compatibility issues, or even a bug in the software.

One possible solution is to try restarting the RD Session Host server and then attempting to add it to the collection again. If that doesn't work, you may need to check the configuration settings on the server to ensure they are correct and compatible with the other components of your infrastructure.

You may also want to check for any updates or patches that may be available for the RD Session Host server software, as these can often fix known issues and improve compatibility with other components.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Haijian Shan

The problem is known, as workaround you need temporary block GPO settings below when collection is creating.

    • Require user authentication for remote connections by using Network Level Authentication
    • Set client connection encryption level
    • Use the specified Remote Desktop license servers
